Dr. Nguyen, a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, became interested in dentistry later in her career. She was born in Vietnam and moved to Niagara Falls, NY at a young age, later to Illinois where she graduated with a bachelor degree in Mathematics & Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Dr. Nguyen furthered her education at the University of Texas at Dallas to receive a master's in Applied Neuroscience and trained to become a specialist in Neurophysiology Monitoring, which assists in protecting the integrity of patients’ nervous systems during complicated brain and spine surgeries. All of her career choices have demonstrated her unyielding drawn to healthcare.

Dr. Nguyen and her family moved to Myrtle Beach in 2017 and instantly fell in love with the city and its people. As part of her dedication to community dental wellness, Dr. Nguyen volunteers at the community outreach Helping Hands of Georgetown, as well as various humanitarian missions in the past. Outside of work, Dr. Nguyen enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband and their son.
